Christmas Stockings
It is a privilege to gather materials together and sew Christmas Stockings as a Guild for Rod's House and/or the YWCA. Help is always needed in cutting out kit stockings and then as the kits are distributed to our members, for them to be sewn together. Next, we gather them back, along with donated items suggested by the organization, and fill the stockings with items that you've donated. At last, they are filled and delivered to the organization that needs them. This always happens prior to Christmas.
If you prefer not to sew stockings or bring in specific materials, cash donations are always appreciated and there will be a cash jar out closer to when the items are needed.
Remember, as you work on this project, to record the time you spend and any donations for our 501C Charitable Works data report.
