Guest Speaker Eddie Walker comes to us from the Walla Walla area.  Free to members of the Yakima Valley Quilters' Guild.  $10.00 non-members

I have always been a crafter, and love to create………everything from painting, to carving Folk Art Santas. Quilting is my current passion.   I started quilting in 1998, when I became the owner of a Gammill Longarm quilting machine...and all the vintage quilts that made me drool, became doable with new techniques and tools available today.

I love to simplify a traditional quilt pattern to make it easier to construct. I enjoy teaching at Local Quilt Shops, and doing workshops for guilds in the Northwest. My personal view on quilting…….

is too simplify the construction, enjoy the process and take pride in the accomplishment.

“Red and White” quilts have always been my favorite and I make one every years (sometimes two)….it seems that almost every quilt pattern “would be amazing in ….red ….and …..white.”
