This does not include Friendship Group quilts, Guild Display items, or Challenge quilts. Every effort will be made to hang every item registered. •                  On your registration form, you will select a location for your entry to be displayedThe options are: Main Show, Guild Display, Friendship Booth, Quilt Show Challenge, Kids Quilt Too, or Miniatures.

Main Show This is the area where most of the quilts will be on display.
Please register early, as priority will be given based on the date entered.
Guild Display The display area that promotes our Guild. These can be projects that members have done throughout the year as Guild projects. They may include lotto blocks class projects, Christmas party gift exchange items, Secret Sister gifts, Summer Challenge projects, Shoebox charity quilts, etc.
Community Service Friendship Booths

These booths will feature small quilting groups from the Yakima Valley and be located near the Guild Display. As members of those groups, you will have the option of registering your quilted projects in the Main Show area or in the group category Friendship Booth. One space will be provided for each group and can be decorated how you wish. All Friendship Groups will be grouped near one another.

If you belong to a group that would like a booth, know that Friendship Booths fill up quickly and are reserved on a first come first served basis. Please contact Susan Westerfield at coffeysue3@gmail.com soon to reserve your space. All spaces are 8' by 8' and you may hang as many quilts in your space as you would like. REMEMBER: These quilts MUST be registered in the Friendship Booth category. You may show unfinished quilts as well, but they too must be registered.

Setup for groups begins at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 30th and we must all be out by 6:00 pm.

Remember:
You are responsible for bringing all the supplies needed to decorate your area. Your "walls" are sheets and you may pin your items to them. We ask that you make a sign indicating the name of your group. A group picture and biography or other information is always a nice touch.

Quilt Show Challenge This category presents you with... a challenge! Too busy to make a large quilt? Take a look at our guidelines for "Trinkets and Things".
Your entry can be any shape, but the combined total of all sides of the quilt needs to measure 120" or less. Add some of your favorite trinkets and things like buttons, buckles, pins, and gems. Have some fun. Dig through your jewelry, notions, and special trinkets you've saved up. Shop thrift stores. Above all, enjoy the journey as you create your Trinkets and Things quilt.

Register them under the Quilt Show Challenge category. There is no charge for entering and all the entries will be hung using the same rules and regulations as any other quilt that you are entering.

Contact Renee Miles at (509) 930-9612 or grandmanay2@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Miniatures

Here we will showcase the fun we had making our tiny quilts for our YVQG Summer 2025 Challenge. Now you can take part as well! Your finished quilt can be paper pieced, pieced, hand pieced and/or contain some appliqué. Your quilt should be no larger than 80" when all sides are added together.

New for 2026: Kids Quilt Too Here we welcome and encourage our younger fiends, quilters aged 17 and under, to enter this special category. Quilts must be no more than 200 inches around (such as 40 by 60 or 50 by 50 or anything smaller.) We look forward to seeing your entries!
