The Guild has a fun program starting in January so if there is a technique that you have been wanting to learn this might be your opportunity! Click here to be taken to a brief description of the project. Remember that this is not the final draft and things could change but we wanted to share the excitement with you so you can start planning your quilting projects for 2012!

Life Through Quilts: Peggy Gelbrrich
Guest Speaker February 1st
Peggy Gelbrrich is from Oregon and has several quilt published in national magazines. Originally from Oregon, Peggy spent 22 years in Ketchikan, Alaska. Her quilts have won many awards and been published in Fons and Porter's “Love of Quilting” and the Quilter’s Newsletter magazines. Her quilt “Roses for Travis and Sharon” is pictured in the book “Rose Sampler Supreme" and has won award at the American Quilt Society in Paducah and the Association of Pacific NW Quilter's. YVQG will offer a class Feb 2nd.
Peggy will teach a class titled “Jacob’s Snails” for us on Thursday February 2nd. The class will be held at the West Valley Fire Station at 9:00 AM. Cost is $40.00.
Please bring a pot luck item for lunch.
