Work is underway to bring you the guild's 2007 quilt show, "A Tisket, A Tasket, Quilts in a Basket to be held on Friday and Saturday, June 8th & 9th. Join us in the Modern Living Building at State Fair Park in Yakima, Washington for two days of quilting heaven.

This year's Quilt Show Chair is Nancy Abbenhaus. Her quilt show crew is hard at work planning a show you won't soon forget!

Raffle Quilt 2007: Scrap Happy Baskets

Work has been completed on our 2007 Raffle Quilt, "Scrap Happy Baskets" thanks to the hard work of many guild members. This year's raffle quilt is a beautifully designed quilt with a decidedly "basket" theme.

The quilt will be on display at various Yakima Valley quilt shops and at various events around the valley until the drawing is held on Monday, June 11th at 3 p.m.

Tickets cost $1 and you need not be present at the drawing to win. You can purchase your raffle tickets from any guild member, where-ever you find it on display, or at the quilt show.

Kathy Winters is the hard-working chair of this year's raffle quilt committee and is ably assisted by Linda Lortie and Lola Whalen.
